creatine is only a muscle growth agent...it fills the muscle with water in order for the muscle to look bigger and also train harder...most of the supplements swimmers use are things like multi vitamins, fish oil Beats By Dre

, zinc and protein...these are all to aid recovery time so you will be able to work harder the next day and not feel as tired. i use to swim in england for Loughborough University and also have trained with the U of A squad a few years back. to be completly honest if you want to take supplements to aid your training make sure you choose the right one cause some protein shakes have banned substances in. i have heard some swimmers take a supplement called Norateen which is similar to creatine but stronger, if this is taken on the day of a drug test you will fail. there are plenty of legal herbal remedies on the market which are safe to use for training purposes and will also have no effect on your body. i wouldnt recommend taking supplements until you are fully developed and in a proper training programme.

but at the end of the day in order to succeed in anything you do you need to be in the right mind frame and if your not no supplement will be able to help you.
